College Access

back to schoolIndependence Plus specializes in transitional services, which makes our team experts in navigating the college system. We understand how developmental disabilities affect the learning process, which is why we’ve taken the time to develop personal relationships with several Los Angeles community colleges. Many students may miss out on helpful resources, simply because they don’t know what can be made available to them, but we do.

We can assist you at any point in the process, from taking the first step in registering for classes to applying for financial aid and accessing all of the on-campus resources available. College isn’t only about education, it’s also about having new experiences and making new friends. Let Independence Plus guide you in finding the right counselor, a great tutor, and a fun club to join.
